Day 3 and 4 Still in Homer

We were able to get the full tour of Homer by cruising the town and by 4-wheeling. We had beautiful weather and yet everything was muddy. Which made 4-wheeling a blast. We were able to get good pictures of glaciers, moose, and some adult and juvenile bald eagles. This first moose is probably one of the ones that like to eat my Aunt's peas.

At first we thought this was a golden eagle but then realized that it was a juvenile bald eagle.

If you see that most of this sand looks black it is because it is. It is coal that washes up on shore.
