First 2 days in Alaska

So we started our Alaska adventure by flying to Anchorage, Alaska. We got in at night and just walked around downtown and found something to eat. This was a lot harder than anticipated. Either the restaurants were closed, had a 2 hour wait, or wanted $17 for a hamburger. We found a dive at the train station that we were able to find something to eat since it was now 830pm.

The next morning we got up at 400am to get to the temple by 530 session. The first picture is how the temple looks at 530. The next 2 pictures were taken at 730.

We then hit the road to drive to Homer, Alaska. Where we stayed with my Aunt Janet and Uncle Aron. Our first sighting of wildlife were these Dahl Sheep.

The rest of the drive was made up of beautiful scenery.

Of course I had to take several flower pictures :)

We finally made it to Homer!!!

On the Spitz of Homer there is this very cool Seafarer's Memorial

TO BE CONTINUED!!!!
