Fairbanks, AK

After Homer we flew to Fairbanks. In Fairbanks we saw the Alaskan Pipeline that is mainly underground but it also is found above ground. It was very cool to see. We also got to pan for gold. I totally understand the gold rush now. It took 15 minutes and I was able to pan $50 worth of gold. We were able to see a native village and learn about their life. We saw a plane land and take off from the river. Learned that Fairbanks can get 90 degrees in the summer and 60 below in the winter. Enjoy the pictures!!!
